This could be very bad advice; it could get OP into legal trouble, depending on the lease agreement and/or state.

That would be illegal. Like how you can't turn off the electricity, water, gas, etc., or refuse to fix their broken whatever for late payment of rent.
EDIT: Y'all need to stop focusing on the fact that I listed utilities initially. You can't deprive your tenant of non-essential luxuries that are included in the rent. You can't block the driveway, or pad-lock the storage shed in the back yard, or do absolutely fucking anything other than filing eviction papers with the court.
