The fun part is each of these fines has a "small administrative fee" from the rental agency attached to it for the convenience of having to track you down to deliver your citations.

once upon a time i got fined in düsseldorf. the fine was €10.
motherfucking sixt charged me €15 "convenience fee"
and i still had to pay the €10 fine myself, it wasnt charged to my credit card.
