The relationship between Sweden and Denmark is one of the most uplifting I know of.

Can you imagine the horror, suffering and death that has come of the wars fought between those countries? People willing to take to arms and die away from their family and life rather than become part of the other country.

And now there's a train connecting their cities together and people cross the border every day and feel like the same people who speak the same language - just one of us has a speech impediment.

It gives me hope for the future.

The last time this was true was maybe at Lund. You actually fought well there. After that it has just been embarrassing. Yeah, you hade a Norwegian scam artist take a castle once after that. Kind of cool, but he was rather worthless when he couldn't scam people, see Älvsborg. And he was regarded enough to try to duel, with swords, against a carolean officer. Went as well as one can expect for the weasel.

It all just got sad. You losing to Germany twice, second time without even fighting. Like... We invade Germany, they don't invade us, that's the rule. As I said, embarrassing. I'm just happy you haven't gone an been conquered by fucking Poland or something.

We have no equal anymore. Sad.

I come from the Baltic Sea from a (back then)Rich City of the Hanse. We were explizites by the Swedish for nearly 200 years. Fuck them I guess. Actually we are having a a festival once a year were we celebrate swedens occupation.
