I've been very busy lately. Busy playing games, that is!
It's the latest and final entry to the Danganronpa franchise - everybody's favorite brutal killing game simulator! It's known for featuring really wacky characters who kill each other in really wacky ways, with really wacky motivations. Your job is to do really wacky investigations and court trials to figure out what happened - if you find the murderer, you win and the murderer gets punished, if you don't, the murderer wins and everybody else gets punished. Exciting stuff!
Danganronpa is a consistently very high quality franchise. I can't recommend it enough. However, it's worth noting that the ending of Danganronpa V3 is, uhh, controversial. *Personally, I thought the ending was brilliant,* I could write an entire essay explaining why I think it's good, but... Nyeh, that sounds like a pain. I'll just say that I *highly recommend Danganronpa overall, and V3 is a solid ending to the franchise.* I'd give it a 10/10, but...
It's a huge pain in the ass, *the Windows port sucks!* I talked more about this when I beat the Demo Version a few months ago. TL;DR: keyboard & mouse input doesn't work half the time, so the gameplay is very frustrating and dialogue gets skipped; the game is laggy, the video cutscenes are /extremely/ laggy, and I even had glitches with saving not working. I lost multiple hours of progress due to this. *I tried both Linux and Windows*, they both have the same problems (though interestingly enough, save file corruption only happened on Windows, but not on Linux for some reason...) *Oh, but if you do choose to play it on Linux, it's even more of a pain* because it doesn't work with Steam Play out-of-the-box, you have to install GloriousEggroll's custom build of Proton for the game to even work in the first place. *This is terrible!* But I still love this game despite the technical flaws, *9/10*.
