I can't stop procrastinatin', I'm very stressed and the stress leads me to gaming as a form of escapism, but I waste time which means I'm even more stressed...
Whatever, I'm overthinking this, it's only a couple of hours a day. Let's talk about some more short games.
The game where time only moves when you do. It's been said a thousand times before, but this is the most innovative shooter I've played in years. It's super fun, and I did mostly feel like a badass stylishly taking out hordes of enemies.
My one problem with SUPERHOT is that time moves not just when you move in the world, but also when you move the camera. Towards the end of the game, there are instances where you're surrounded by enemies, and as you turn around to see if anyone's shooting at you from behind, you're already dead.
This game claims to be a blend of action and strategy, but for me this turned into a bit of a trial-and-error game where I had to learn every enemy's placement and spawn point before I could complete a level. Maybe I just wasn't good at it, but the last level made me quite angry.
I understand why they did this, because if you could move the camera super-quickly in slow-motion, that would look horrible in the replay videos. I guess the enemy placement could've been a little bit better to help with this, but besides the final level, the problem isn't that serious and the game is still enjoyable.
Aside from nit-picking, there's a lot to love about SUPERHOT, so it gets another *8/10* from me.

Another game from the itch.io Racial Justice bundle, one of the more popular ones. *I replayed it, because the author recently released a remastered version of the entire "springs" trilogy!*

I noticed that out of the entire trilogy, only the first game is available in Russian. So I decided to replay that one and compare it to the English translation. *Turns out, the translation contains some mistakes.* I'm not going to describe them in detail unless someone asks me to, so for now I'll just say, *do not play the Russian version!*
I contacted the developer and once I'm done with university assignments, I'd like to help make a better translation for the whole trilogy.
Oh, I should probably explain what the game actually is... Well, it's a series of super short and super-adorable visual novels about people of various sexualities and genders. These are sensitive topics and there are some serious issues to discuss there, but these games approach them with a very light-hearted tone. This is not an Oscar Award winner-type tearjerker, this is just a cute story about cute girls being themselves and doing cute things, I like it. These games are pretty unique, and I'm happy to see a remaster (though I've yet to complete the entire remastered trilogy).
