There's something that _feels_ nice about popping in a tape or CD, and interacting with a simple interface with a single purpose: Selecting which music is playing.
Picking an album you want to play off the shelf, putting it into the thing and pressing the nice clicky buttons, all the tactile feedback and affirming noises followed by your favourite music. Interacting with technology in a physical way like this has become something of a novelty, but I really wish it hadn't.
Which reminds me, I found that album I ordered half hanging out of my letterbox with a bunch of crow feathers. I guess I owe the goat dude a pint.
