Well, a kind soul from my favourite Linux User Group gave me an unused Fritz!Box 7360 SL. It was in good shape and I could reconfigure the box in short time. And it works like a charm!
The only thing new to me: nowadays the answering machine part requires an external USB stick to work. But once known, that was easy to solve.
So thanks to R. for letting me reuse this box.
