Yes, I realize it's not April 15^th [1], the traditional date that Uncle Sam holds out his hands least he release the [DELETED-hounds-DELETED] IRS (Internal Revenue Service) [2] but September 15^th.
Most people here in the US (United States) have their employers do the withholding (form W-2) and only have to square away once a year. But if you're self employed (or considered self employed, like I am) then you have the privilege of making estimated tax payments four times a year to Uncle Sam.
Aren't I lucky?
