i now have another freelance assignment on my plate, an important assignment for a friend of mine who is starting both a 'product studio' and a defi protocol. he's got money to spend to make it happen, so i'll be creating the brand identities for both of these.
it's been a calm couple of months without any freelance work, and i've only been working one job. this new assignment poses a new challenge for me: how to become more efficient in my given eight or nine hours of "work time" in an effort to avoid staying up until 2 a.m. like i was doing at this time last year.
we'll see how that goes.
i drove into hyperspeed when O and i decided to hang out tonight, and with two and a half hours, i created most of what i needed to go into my first conversation with my friend and now-client.
O and i decided to watch a movie tonight, the new bond film "no time to die". it was pretty great, and i don't care if the movie snobs say it's just an action film. you can go fuck yourself and let me and the simple-minded enjoy our movies.
to be fair, though, it was cheesy and grandiose. fun to watch.
O is hilariously jumpy. there were some 'scary' portions of the movie, but watching only her reactions, you might have thought she was victim of a horror screening.
after a long two and a half (+) hours in the cinema, we descended the escelators back on to the streets of new york city, back to normal lives, back to my apartment, and definitely inspired by the make-out scenes.
