Keeping my writings short, I'm typing this on a phone using Termux, I'm safe but still paranoid so I keep my laptop in my backpack at all times.
Last big piece of news is a Russian missile targeting a railway station in Kyiv, where hundreds are waiting to evacuate. It missed and hit close to a nearby hotel, number of casualties unknown but seems low.
If you live in Ukraine or in Russia, you know what to do. This is for those who want to help but are staying away.
If you want to send monetary aid, you can probably find channels for it. Humanitarian orgs are looking for money as always, our military also accepts donations, though I suspect most of you will not want to sponsor a military (maybe you will reconsider knowing that local anarchists are voluntarily enlisting as well?)
I personally don't need money at the moment.
Telegram channel organizing DDoS attacks on Russia
This channel is not exactly secret as it was shared by our Verkhovna Rada's Telegram as well.
Ukraine blocks Russian state-affiliated stuff, so our folks use VPNs. You might be able to get away with just using your IP address directly, that sounds like a bad idea to me, though I am not an expert (I am a hacker in the MIT sense, not in the sense of "let's take down propaganda news websites").
It's probably best to just follow their instructions, basic instructions should be available in English, however most messages are only in Ukrainian.
I was never the biggest fan of Ukraine, but Putin's Russia is unarguably worse. I also don't want to feel useless, while also wanting to keep safe, I guess.
