When an article on the web is boring, chances are the author did not prepare it for reading on the web. Jakob Nielsen’s Alertbox for June 1996, *Inverted Pyramids in Cyberspace* ¹ explains that you should start with the conclusion, followed by some supporting observations, ending with the background.
