I joined the kickstarter a long time ago and got the device yesterday. The package was nice. It works. The menu looks good – always tricky with a wheel user interface. My 16GiB SD card works, all I had to so was reformat it using a VFAT file-system (whatever the Gnome Disks app suggested). The device came semi-charged so it worked immediately. Something rattles when I shake it. Maybe it’s the button? There is some sort of haptic feedback with the UI which surprised me. The UI doesn’t dim or go dark with inactivity, there’s a switch to do it. I guess I like it. The music sounds great with my old Sennheiser Monument cable-only headphones.
