Today is the day! 😀
It took me forever to find the date and the place for the climate strike here in Zürich because I always ended up on pages that said it was going to be *next* week because I ended up on Klimatreik which says that 21. – 27. Sep 19 is something called Earthstrike... But that is not what I was looking for.
As it turns out you can visit Global Climate Strike and search for Zürich.
Anyway, finally I found:

Not surprisingly turnout was low, maybe 120–150 people? My impression was that half of them were English speaking. Two students we saw on the way told us that the Swiss had picked different dates because it’s closer to the elections in October. OK, I guess that makes sense.
I liked the fact that it was very organic and spontaneous in other words totally unorganized and it still worked. But not the kind of demo to make a big splash.
As far as I can tell, no WWF, Pro Natura, Greenpeace – probably they’re all organizing for next week?
