I know very little about Brexit. What little I know I got from posts shared by Jörg Fliege. Today, I was in a discussion with @fitheach, @bob, @jamie, and @gemlog, and I said that I had heard here in Switzerland that an independent Scotland would be very poor indeed. I asked: What do I say to that? All the money apparently transferred from south to north? Personally I was in favour of independence but it was an emotional and political decision, not a financial decision. I have no idea about the finances.
Well, fitheach came back and said he thought The Wee Blue Book “is a useful introductory read about the hows & whys of an independent Scotland. It is from 2014, but the principles haven’t changed. All the stats have been cited.”
I’m going to read that.
