Collecting donations for 2019. I’ll start with the regular stuff: I regularly donate $10/month to the EFF, $120/year to the FSF, CHF 120/year to Digitale Gesellschaft, and €180/year to the FSFE.
As for political associations in Switzerland: we are members of Mieterverband (for tenants) and VCS Verkehrs-Club der Schweiz (for sustainable mobility, unlike the Touring-Club, which is pro-cars).

And I pay double subscription for the local leftist weekly newspaper, WOZ, CHF 530 in total.
Something new for me: people I know or knew on social media. This is very strange for me.

I thought I might donate to Wikimedia CH but was unable to use the Swiss TWINT app with the QR code, twice. I also tried to donate to the Internet Archive but I’ve spent way too much time unblocking this script or that script and still it would get stuck at one point or another. Now I feel like donating to some old school charity that asks for money on paper. Gaaaah.
