I really like the adventure **Well of the Worm** in the *Dungeon Crawl Classics #29: The Adventure Begins* (adventure compilation for character levels 1-2). I’ve run it twice, now, and it worked very well. I like how it encourages the establishment of a cult of worms, which may or may not grow in importance for your campaign. It’s disgusting. I usually change the zombie elves into prisoners to be rescued and use this to establish a friendly faction out in the wilderness early in the game.
