We liked the hotel. We saw rabbits from our window.
Before we left, we went to see St. Canine cathedral in Kilkenny and climbed the free standing round tower. That was quite an experience.
On the way south we stopped at Cashel Rock and looked at the ruined cathedral. Another round tower which we didn’t climb. We saw the restauration attempts in the Cormac chapel.
We arrived in Cork and ended up in the most awesome hotel yet. No issues with wifi. Excellent cuisine.
The roads were narrow. Very narrow. I was happy to let Claudia drive. I haven’t driven a car in ten years, I think. She does all the driving and sometimes I feel bad about it. Here, were people drive on the wrong side of the road all the time, it’d be even worse. My next holidays will be *without cars*.
We loved Hayfield Manor.
