Had “a complete Irish breakfast”. Man, that’s a lot of meat! I prefer a French breakfast. We spent the morning in Glendalough amongst the ruins of St. Kevin’s monastic village with the weird free standing tower. Later, we went to see the Brownshill Dolmen near Carlow. We spent the evening strolling through Kilkenny. Listened to some life music, Claudia tried her second Irish beer (Kilkenny), and I had some Irish Whiskey.
Lyrath Estate Hotel was luxuriously big rooms. We loved it.
