2011-07-11 The iPad is my principal web terminal

I like how some of the Google Apps on the iPad have a more application-like design. This part about their mobile effort I like. Sometimes, however, it seems that the iPad ought to be able handle “more” features. The iPad is my principal web terminal. It really is. I can’t be bothered to boot my old iBook with PowerPC chipset running Xubuntu just for web and mail. And the Mac Mini desktop is slow to boot and often busy. My wife uses it for real work. That’s why I need the iPad to be as functional as possible.

I want +1 buttons when browsing the web using my iPad via wifi (if bandwidth is a problem?)

I want the share button when using Google+ on my iPad.

I want to unsubscribe from feeds on Google Reader when using my iPad.

I want to list the members in Google Groups I created when using my iPad. I want to add new members and remove existing members.

Maybe I should keep taking notes somewhere.
