2011-05-11 German Posting Explained

If any of you are simply following my global feed, you have no doubt noticed all the German posts in recent days. Why is this, you ask? I’ve been to my first RPG convention that had more than five gaming tables. 🙂

The Role Play Convention (RPC) is the largest RPG convention in Europe, apparently – and it’s practically all German. I spent two days there together with Claudia, we looked at all the computer role-playing games being shown, all the LARP weapons, armor and costumes on display, at all the dioramas, miniatures, card games, animes, people in costume, and the latest table-top RPG releases. I played in a super short demo with some German bloggers, forum posters and game designers. It was really way too short.

I’m not sure I enjoy this enough to do it again – it takes a five hour train ride to get to Köln (Cologne).

Anyway, I met some bloggers, we talked, I checked out their blogs, and I wrote some German blog posts.

It is technically possible to subscribe just to the English RPG articles by using this feed:

RPG.rss

Sometimes a feed reader like Google Reader offers subscription based on search terms and the like. In that case you might very well end up with the wrong feed. Sorry about that!

Personally, I often use the Show All Feeds bookmarklet to see all the feeds available on a page before subscribing.

I’m not sure how this works for those of you who have added me to their blog roll. I just hope it works for you. Thank you for adding me! 🙂
