2010-03-04 Podcast Update
MJ Harnish posted his Bi-annual RPG Podcast Round-up again. Like last time, I’ll go through mine as well.

Bi-annual RPG Podcast Round-up
last time
- All Games Considered – I’m no longer all that interested, but I guess they’re a good source of news :yellow:
- Fear the Boot – always something interesting 👌
- Green Ronin Publishing Podcast – they hardly ever publish new episodes but I don’t mind 👌
- The History of Rome – awesome ☆ ☆ ☆
- In Our Time – science, philosophy, and history; the best! ☆ ☆ ☆
- Material World – science; even more BBC Radio 4; I love their podcasting services :green:
- Norman Centuries – by the guy who did the 12 Byzantine Emperors; ☆ ☆
- Open Design Podcast – short segments; doesn’t publish too often :green:
- Roll For Initiative – *New!* old school D&D; sometimes I feel like I know better than the hosts 😄 :yellow:
- RPG Circus – an interesting mix; they need more editing and better sound quality but indicated that they won’t invest more time; I understand and regret it both :green:
- Sounds! – *New!* indie music radio show by Swiss German national radio ☆ ☆ ☆
- The Canon Puncture Show – I like it; I like it even more when Judd’s on ☆
- Thinking Allowed – social science, books, not as cool as In Our Time :green:
- The Voice of the Revolution – news about indie games that I don’t play :green:
- 12 Byzantine Emperors – no longer updated, but a *must hear* if you haven’t already ☆ ☆ ☆
- 2d6 Feet in a Random Direction – still love them; episodes come out rarely ☆
- 3.5 Private Sanctuary – long time no hear? I used to like them ☆

Wow, the list has grown *short*! I guess I don’t mind waiting a long time for new episodes if the quality is right.
Actual play podcasts would make sense for educational purposes. But for entertainment? Not so much.

Glad to hear you still like the show - I’ll be the first to admit that episodes have become rare (certainly more rare than we’d like). Episode 50 is currently completing mastering, and we’re planned to record episode 51 in less than a week.
Thanks!
