Things that make me uncomfortable:
1. Clients asking for my InstantMessaging contact info so that they we can chat. That means they also get to see when I get up and go to bed, the stupid jokes I put into my status messages, get to ask me questions when I’m at home minding my own business... What to do? A few days ago I created a Skype and MSN account for work only. Maybe I should not have listed them on my Contact page.
2. Co-workers asking me to visit their dojo and practice some Aikido together. Somehow it reminds me of stepping naked into a sauna and finding other people sort of know from work looking at you. What to do? I don’t know. I need some ZenBuddhism enlightenment. Somebody whack me over the head with a bamboo cane and point at the moon. Quick!
