The WikiModeDiscussion and SiteMapDiscussion pages on EmacsWiki are currently attracting a large amount of vandalism. Some of it is not really spam, since it doesn’t contain any links – just one or two lines saying “Hello! _ Just wanted to say hello.”, “Peace people We love you”, or “Hi! How r u? nice site!” and so on._
I feel like introducing the Oddmuse:QuestionAsker Extension: Introduce a text captcha that asks stuff like “Give me a number between one and ten.” If you answer correctly, I’ll store the information in a cookie, and you won’t have to answer another question (until you loose the cookie). It seems that other people have had great success using this.
