Twilight Samurai (2002) was one of the best Samurai movies I’ve seen. And via e1f’s journal I discovered that there are follow-up movies!
I just realized that all three are based on novels by Shuuhei Fujisawa, according to the IMDB. ¹

I liked Twilight Samurai too. Did not know about the sequels though.
