I’m currently reading Byzantium: The Early Centuries by John Julius Norwich. Interesting read, and makes me want to go back to Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire by Edward Gibbon.

The weird thing is, however, that my Penguin History edition is missing pages 97 to 272! What on earth... ?
For severe defects such as missing pages or improper binding, please return the book to the store where you purchased it and they will replace the copy. ¹
Argh! I must have ordered this books months ago from Amazon Germany. This sucks. 🙁
Makes me want to steal an online version... ;)
