2006-12-11 Early Christmas

Claudia and I thought of the same thing. Today I was to meet Claudia after she had been shopping for presents at a Tram stop, but then a friend of her needed keys to a room, and I was about to go shopping for flower pots, and then I met her, and we were all in a rush, and she handed me a present and her bag and asked me to carry it home while she helped her friend. And then I realized two things: 1. This was my present, and 2. the packaging looked *exactly* like the present I had bought for her. Later that evening, I told her. She wanted to see it. I fetched it. And so it was. We opened the presents then and there and had a good laugh. 😄 14¾ years and a day can do this to you...

Claudia and I thought of the same thing.

Well, you have known eachother for 15 years, but was there any additional information you were both fed that prepared you for this coincidence? In other words, had you spoken of this gift to eachother, or remarked of it while passing it in a store window? Or was this really the result of fully authentic, spontaneous, and subconcious shopping?

Finally, what was the gift you both gave eachother?

It was not out of the blue... We had a Lush catalog lying around; she had shown it to me and wanted us to go there one of these days. Then we both secretly picked it as a good idea for a Christmas present, and never mentioned it again. Both of us, as it turns out, looked at the catalog, and put it back exactly as it was such as not to arouse any suspicion...

We gave each other a box of around ten items to use when taking a bath.
