Kathy Sierra asks about her blog readers. ¹ Somehow I don’t feel like posting a comment over there, so I’ll just do it over here:

*One thing I’m passionate about**: Enabling a new audience with my wiki – non-English speakers, fledgling Perl programmers. That’s why it has to be easy to install and easy to hack.

*Something most people wouldn’t know about me**: I practice with my wooden sword in my living room when I’m tense late at night.

*In less than 10 words, how your closest friends would describe you**: Guarded, resentful, caring, friendly, smart, arrogant, lazy, strange, true.

*If you could give a teenager only ONE piece of advice... (in one sentence)**: Don’t do anything you will be unable to make up in the future, should you change your mind.

*And then any other links or comments you think our readers here might be interested in, with no need to stay “on topic.” (Since the topic is – technically – you)**: Uh...

Oh well, I went ahead and posted it on her blog anyway after reading some other comments. I really liked this advice for teenagers:

Just ask that girl/boy out. Really. In 20 years time, you’ll either wish you did, or it won’t be important. Either way says do it.
