Wiki RSS feeds are a bit of a problem: Yesterday I split an old page into several DatePages, renamed it, created a redirect, etc. The default RSS feed records only major changes, but when I started reorganizing, I didn’t know that I would end up doing so much of it, and thus some changes got marked as major changes. And looking at Recent Changes now, it is absolutely flooded. And the corresponding RSS feed is flooded, too. The only only feed that is not flooded is the Journal Feed, which mimics the Diary page. It remained untouched.
I wonder how the kind of reorganizing could be mapped to RSS feed activity. I guess it would be nice, if the feed said: “Various pages reorganized: A, B, C, and D were changed.” I’d have to use a flag somewhere that said: “The following changes all belong to the same set,” and the default feed should group them all.
I guess I could have used Oddmuse:Temporary Clusters. Damn. I need to experiment with this.
