TelePolis writes about the secret prisons where the CIA doesn’t torture criminals according to their own words. ¹ But then again, what they consider to be acceptable mistreatment of prisoners reads like torture to me. ²
Telepolis also goes into the silent cooperation the US enjoys in Europe. Clearly, we need to look to opposition parties to put some pressure on our governments. Nobody else seems to be interested in uncovering the truth and putting the perpetuators to justice. 🙁
Just now the BBC World Service is reporting that the ACLU is filing a case against the abductions and torture taking place.
