Sunflowers The sunflowers at the end of summer are amazing. These are not grown to uniform height in order to produce oil. These are growing by the wayside, in some garden corner or between the bicycle trail and the railway track.
They are about twice my size. I’m 1.80m.

Btw, they’re called “solrosor” in Swedish:
sol = sun ros = rose
⇒ “sun rose”
About the extra “or”:
solros = sun flower solrosor = sun flowers
In Sweden we use them for producing “solrosolja” (oil for cooking, olja = oil) and we use the seeds in bread (I quite enjoy that.)
