We made our reservations today. We’ll have to confirm by Tuesday or Wednesday. I’ll have to mail NoufalIbrahim... ;) We’re leaving here on November 9, arriving in Bangalore on November 10 early in the morning, and we’ll fly back on November 30 from Delhi. That means we’ll have to leave shortly after the wedding, but there will be a a day or two in either Himachal or Delhi for us to spend.
Anyway, those are our current plans. It will cost a little over CHF 3000 for the two of us, which is a bit cheaper than expected. Finding a seat was not easy. It seems that November is marriage season in India. ;)

You can get a Deccan Air flight from Delhi to Bangalore (return, for two people) for about INR 11,000. I just booked them last week. If you buy these tickets abroad, they turn out to be approximately twice as expensive. Perhaps we can buy the tickets for you here and then email the tickets to you. It’s one of those electronic tickets, so you just have to print it out. Turn up at the counter with yout passport and the ticket and it should be ok. The people I booked the tickets for will be here on the 10th, I’ll let you know if they had any problems.
