Maddox writes about immigrants taking our jobs: Oops! You're racist. It’s good to hear some refreshing statements on the subject. Personally my argument has always been: “Why should I care about foreigners taking your job? You think that you deserve the job just for being a citizen of X?” As for national policy, I think we should open up the borders, accept an influx of poor people, and make sure hard work is rewarded. That also means that ripping of immigrants should not be rewarded.
I don’t even remember how I ended up on his site... Via ../wiki?action=edit;id=aadis "Click to edit this page")’s blog, maybe.

Finally a healthy view on that subject. I, too, am a believer of open borders and equal possibilities of landing each job for each of the worlds citizens. Most people seem too threatened by outsourcing etc. that they hardly put any trust in their own skill, which is what should get them the jobs in the first place. Maddox, IMHO, should be seen as a comedic character with exaggerated views. That much cynisism can’t be good for a live human being. 😄 In this piece, however, he actually made a point.
