Playing *Metroid Prime* and *Paper Mario*.
Metroid Prime doesn’t have enough save points! Why doesn’t it save automatically in every room you leave? Sure, once you’ve been walking around for half an hour, not finding a save point really makes you nervous, and perhaps that integrated nervousness is part of the game. But really – who are we kidding? Not enough playtesting, I claim!
Paper Mario has some funny ideas with the 2D/3D setting, but I somehow find the cuddly graphics a bit distracting. I don’t think I really enjoy this Mario world... I just can’t help it. While I would like to encourage visually interesting games, this is just not interesting *enough*. A friend of mine was very enthusiastic about the game, so we’ll see how it goes. But I’m sceptical.
