You know I like Thunderbird. I use it at the office. (At home I continue using Gnus.) I found that Thunderbird supports Faces – yes, the very GnusFace stuff!

I looked for a Thunderbird RSS extension but found none. And Firefox Live Bookmarks don’t work well for me. And I deinstalled Sage for Firefox. So now I tried to install rss2email on my Windows machine in the office. Watch out: Not rss2mail – that one uses a DB! Installed Python, installed rss2email, and noticed that porting it to Windows is too much hassle. Don’t have the fcntl library. Temp-files not getting removed. 🙁

?? Thunderbird from 0.8 has RSS support whithout extension. You just need Tools→account settings→ add an account RSS & blogs. PierreGaston
Hm, I *thought* so, and looked for it, but didn’t find it! Thanks for reminding me! Works just fine. 😄 – Alex.

All this linking reminds me of LionKimbro’s post on LocalNames and how he is frustrated by lack of enthusiasm arround him. I really need to think about this issue before writing about it.
