Should I ask Claudia whether she wants to switch from Gnus to Thunderbird?
I asked her, starting with “I somehow have the feeling that maybe you don’t like Emacs because it looks ugly...” She didn’t understand. “No, no,” she said. “I like Emacs. Remember I used DOS for my thesis? I don’t need shiny buttons and images. I just need to understand what is going on. Emacs is just fine...”

Wow! I’d never been able to leave mozilla/thunderbird for gnus even after several tries! (i guess having a gnus guru at home helps though) PierreGaston
I guess Firefox convinced me to take a look at it again. It seems to have clever spam-filter integration, too.
Update, 2004-11-08: I switched to Thunderbird at work. We’ll see how it goes.
