Listened to some MP3 samples from Tom Waits’ new album ¹. The only songs I liked based on these samples were ’’how’s it gonna end_, *dead and lovely*, and _day after tomorrow’’... Maybe it needs some more listening? But I didn’t like his album *Mule Variations* either... I think I’ll rather buy the new Transglobal Underground album. Their site has MP3 samples ² of *Khaleegi*, *Taxi*, *Vanlika*, *Cikan*, and *Rasta*. Hm. The samples I like the best are *Khaleegi*, and *Vanlika*. Gotta check that Natacha Atlas site again... ³
