I also started reading *Twisty Little Passages* today. ISBN 0-262-13436-5 (isbn.nu, german). I should play more InteractiveFiction.
When I finished *Twisty Little Passages*, I was a bit disappointed. This is not a book about writing Interactive Fiction (IF). This is not a book with reviews or criticism of games. This is an academic book reviewing the field of IF. History, precursors, relation to riddles, terminology, merits as art.
I do not recommend it.
