Another sunny afternoon, another walk: From the Langstrasse to the Limmatplatz, across the Kornhausbrücke towards Nordstrasse (where Claudia lives), but then down to the river, to the old Letten train station (now defunct and used by sunbathers and beach volleyball players), along the river, back accross the river alongside the old viaduct used by trains passing from the Zürich main station to Oerlikon. The viaduct is currently being renovated, which is causing quite some discussion amongst people interested in city development, because the room between the arches has been used by alternative projects, cheap restaurants, discos, and food imports. After the renovation the Swiss Federal Railways will probably ask for a lot more money... 🙁 Anyway, the path ends and I descended a temporary wooden staircase towards the park at the Josefstrasse with the waste incineration in the background, and back towards the Langstrasse.

You live in a beautiful country. But I guess photographs have a way of accentuating the beauty of what you’re shooting. 😄

Next time I shall decide upon some mechanical measure. Walk, and every three minutes take a picture in the direction I am facing, without focus on anything particular. Unfortunately I have had bad results with “lomo” style picture taking, ie. shooting from the hip. (Wikipedia:Lomography)
