Saw *Zatôichi* (IMDB:0363226) today. Another Takeshi Kitano movie, another samurai movie... Most Takeshi Kitano movies have excellent timing on violence and still-pictures. This time there was perhaps too much gore, too much martial-arts, but it isn’t all that clear. Most of his movies have left me wondering whether I really liked them or not. Oh well.
As for samurai movies, it doesn’t beat *Twilight Samurai* (IMDB:0351817)...
