Games

I started playing *Halflife* on the PS2. I needed a first-person shooter and it was available for half-price. I need a shooter because I want two-person games to play with my good friend Zeno. ;) I found the atmosphere in *Medal of Honor: Frontline* much more intense, however. But Frontline doesn’t have a two-player mode. 🙁

Holidays

My two-month holiday is about to end, soon. 😢

Movies

An idea for a movie, inspired by real life: A guy spends too many nights hacking, going to sleep later every day, until he just skips one night of sleep. He lacks one night of sleep – he lives in the wrong day! Slowly, problems crop up: He’s always trying to catch up, because everybody is moving too fast, and he’s having an allergic cough because he’s living in the past...

USA

Brazil is taking fingerprints and pictures of US citizens. ¹ Way cool, even if it just happens in parts. I find this security paranoia useless and dehumanizing as well. And I find it specially sad that the EU is trying to implement the same measures.

The fingerprints are only taken of american citizen and only at Guarulhos, the international airport of Sao Paulo. This decision was taken by a judge on the basis of “reciprocidade diplomatica” because the States have decided to take fingerprints of all brazilian citizen. This decision seems to be an incorrect intervention of the juridical power into the executive power and still need to bo commented/handled by the federal government.
