Added some pictures to 2003-09. I’m not using the new Oddmuse file upload for these pictures. It is just too easy to use the midnight commander to upload the files, or my little "upload" shell script. The Oddmuse file upload is mostly for public sites where people want pictures, screenshots, etc.

I played some Metroid Prime on my Gamecube. I’ve got to kill the Flaahgra ¹. I’ve been trying to get this boss again and again. It just spoils the game when you have so difficult bosses on your way. Very frustrating. This is against Rule #1 on my GameReviews page:

I like games that are **easy**. I bought every damn single level of the game, and I want to play it, too. I don’t want to be shown how crudely inadequate my reflexes and how incredibly lame my thinking is. Got real life. Want game!

All the cool graphics and the wonderful atmosphere of Metroid Prime don’t make it up. I hate this.

Couple of reccomendations.

1. Gameboy advanced (SP)

1. Golden Sun (part 1 and 2). They don’t violate your rules and they’re fun.

2. Donkey Kong country. It’s a little reflex oriented but the feel and music definitely make it worth it.

2. Dreamcast - You play Soul Calibur and not Dead or Alive (2)? gosh! The latter is real fun. I enjoy it a lot more than Soul Calibur. Give it a shot.

3. PC - Heroes of might and magic (upto the 3rd part - 4 was excessive IMHO).

Interesting. Haven’t played any of them. I figured I don’t need to buy Dead or Alive since I had bought Virtua Fighter 4 for the PS2 by then.

I also don’t have a GBA – I played Advance Wars (1) on a borrowed machine. That was fun, and AW2 is out now... But I don’t think I’ll buy a GBA just for that one game.

And I also don’t play on my PC, usually. I bought Comanche 3 a long time ago and out of nostalgia I installed DOS and C3 again, but that is a really old game...

I think I will go and watch a DVD now. ;)

I believe Golden Sun is avaliable for platforms other than the GBA too.
