EmacsWiki has moved... from http://64.124.84.213/ to http://emacswiki.wikiwikiweb.de/ – and trouble has started right after I did the last test and changed the name server for emacswiki.org from ns1.dns-solutions.com and ns2.dns-solutions.com to ns.thinkmo.de. It seems to me – and I have no idea about the Domain Name System (DNS) – that ns.thinkmo.de is working, because I can use it directly:
http://emacswiki.wikiwikiweb.de/
host -v -t any emacswiki.org ns.thinkmo.de
But obviously nobody else is getting sent to ns.thinkmo.de. What an ugly situation. And nobody seems to know what to do. And http://purl.org/wiki/emacs/ points to the non-working emacswiki.org domain. And the people at both the registrar company and the web hosting company say the other is at fault. Friendly, but terse. Are they looking for it? Do they know what is wrong? Do they care? As if they where expecting me to read their Para-langauge via mail. But as we all know, mails and IRC require more verbosity. Much more verbosity. Smilies are just the start.
Other than that: I bough a digital camera two weeks ago and am very happy with it. Some pictures (note the domain, haha):
