You have probably heard that God loves you. You may have also heard that His love is nothing like our human love. That you can take the biggest love among people and it would be nothing compared to His love towards us, towards you. If you've heard that, than you have heard pretty much the same as all Catholics should have heard.
That said - can you really feel that love here, now? Is it possible to feel this kind of love and still live? (In fact - isn't this a very just question? Isn't this in principle the same question as the one asked in the Old Testament - how can a man see God and live?) Or maybe it's just a matter of "faith in the darkness" which will only be illuminated be God Himself after our death?
You can read Saints' writings - St. Teresa of Avila just to mention one, where you can find relations of *feeling* and *being aware* of this constant, infinite, sacred and holy love of God which He gives to human freely out of His choice to love us! This love is absolutely fiery! God wants to love us and to be loved by us. He truly is the source of all love... even more: He is love!
